Privacy policy

Flank is a service of Flank LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. "Flank", "we" and "us" mean Flank LLC. This policy covers flankcreative.com, the Flank app, and the emails we send. If something here is unclear, ask us and we will answer plainly.

If you visit flankcreative.com

• The website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or ad tracking.
• Cloudflare, which hosts it, handles your IP address and browser details to deliver the page and protect it from attacks.
• Its fonts come from flankcreative.com itself, so showing the page contacts no one else.
• If you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address, company and message, and use them only to reply to you.
• If you answer our questions (flankcreative.com/start), we receive your name, work email, mobile number, company, website, the kind of business, what you want your ads to get, roughly what you spend on Meta ads, where your business is, and whether you ticked "Text me about this". With them we keep the words you agreed to, when you sent them, and your IP address. We use them only to decide whether we're a fit and to get back to you by text, if you ticked the box. We email you only for an invitation, a calendar invite or a receipt.
• The contact form and the questions are checked by Cloudflare Turnstile, which tells people from automated spam without cookies.

If you have a Flank account

We hold:

• your name and email address, and the business details you give us for your receipts (legal name, address, tax ID, website);
• the ads we make for you, and anything you send us for them;
• from the Meta ad accounts you connect: each account's name, currency, time zone and status, its ads and what they're made of (names, statuses, video and image IDs, thumbnails), and each ad's daily spend, impressions and clicks. We keep Meta's answers as the record your bills come from;
• your billing records: every fee, charge, refund and receipt, and the terms you agreed to. Card details go into Stripe's payment form and are stored by Stripe; we never see your full card number;
• when you agree to the billing terms: the words you agreed to, when, and the IP address and browser you used;
• sign-in records (when, IP address, browser), and a cookie on the app that keeps you signed in.

We use this to make your ads, bill you for them, run your account, keep it secure, answer card disputes, and email you about your account. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for anyone else's advertising.

Sign in with Google

If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture, and use them only to create your account and sign you in. We do not sell Google user data, share it with anyone except the providers that host Flank, or use it to build advertising profiles or train models. Flank's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Who we share it with

Only the providers that run Flank, and only so they can do their part:

• Cloudflare: hosting, database, file storage, and the emails from our contact form and questions;
• Resend: sending the app's emails, such as sign-in codes, receipts and billing notices;
• Stripe: payments, your saved card and card disputes. In a dispute, we send Stripe the records that show what the payment was for;
• Meta: we read your connected ad accounts through Meta's API, with the access you gave our Business Manager;
• Twilio: sending and receiving our text messages, if you agreed to them;
• Google: sign-in, if you choose it, and our email inbox (Google Workspace), where messages and your answers arrive;
• the AI providers that help us write scripts and make images, voices and videos: only what a given ad needs, such as its script and the product details you send.

We never share your mobile number, or your agreement to get our texts, with anyone else for their marketing: not with third parties, and not with companies related to us.

We will also share information if the law requires it. We do not sell personal information.

How long we keep it

• Your billing records (fees, the Meta figures they come from, charges, refunds, receipts, the terms you agreed to) and our emails are kept while your account is open and after it closes, as long as the law and running the business require. That's what lets you see your bills and receipts after you leave.
• Anything we don't need to keep, we delete when you ask.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask for a copy. Email us and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under local law, and we honour them.

Children

Flank is for businesses and for people 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change affects how we handle Google user data, we will email account holders before it takes effect.
